I'm a second-year Computer Science student at the University of Toronto with minors in French and City Studies.
I have a great interest in programming, urban planning, language learning, parks and nature, alternative music, and creating cool stuff.
I'm based in the best city in the world, Toronto, ON, but I hail from the equally great London, ON.

The skills I learned in this role were
Created a dozen Sharepoint web pages with embedded HTML and CSS for a new internal ministry website viewed by more than thousands of resources daily.
Developed Timesheet Compliance, Project Status, and Resource Utilization dashboards in Power BI for the Project Management Office while abiding by the Software Development Life Cycle with rigorous unit-testing, peer review, and adherance to stakeholder requirements.
Streamlined the learning process for new developers by developing a dedicated developer home page with learning resources for new developers in the ministry.
The skills I learned in this role were
Automated a fully manual and time-intensive process of weekly data extraction from Planview for Power BI dashboards by developing a library in Python from scratch using Selenium resulting in 15% of work hours saved per week.
Wrote clean and clear documentation for the library created ensuring that new developers can consult the documentation all while mentoring new co-ops.
Collaborated and communicated with ministry executives, stakeholders, administrators, and finance to achieve requirements.

Led a team of 5 to develop an art collection management application for TAAM in Android OS using Java.
Utilized real-time NoSQL database Firebase to store and manage exhibit data and Git to maintain version control.
Developed an app written in Python to translate screenshots from English to Old English (or other languages).
Utilized Mistral AI to do the back-end translations, sending the results to a Discord server using the Discord API.

Wrote a TCP server and client for concurrent multiplayer Battleship in C allowing for multiple ships playing on the same board.
Players can register accounts, target cells on the board, and quit the game in the console.
Input and output from all players is all concurrent allowing for broadcasting of messages back and forth between the server and clients.

Developed a full-stack, informational transit website that lets users know accurate bus/streetcar arrivals, get information on routes, and generate a list of random connected routes.
Visualized route paths and route connections using the Google Maps API and collected NextBus data from the TTC using Python to use that data as a back-end source of information on routes.
Created a front-end design that adapts to phone and desktop screens.
Developed a simple extension that translates highlighted text into any language for the purposes of language learning.
Written with persistent extension settings using cookies.
Developed a back-end API endpoint server to interface with a MongoDB database.
Built a clean and functional user interface with the REACT framework in JavaScript using of CSS.
